General Maintenance Worker

Join Our Team as a General Maintenance Worker at KFC Rohloff Group!

We are seeking a reliable and responsible General Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team at KFC Rohloff Group Somerset West (Western Cape). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Regional KFC stores is safe, clean, and fully operational by performing routine maintenance and minor repairs. This role supports the store team by maintaining equipment, addressing facility issues, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

What You'll Be Cooking Up:

Perform daily inspections of store facilities, including kitchen equipment, dining areas, restrooms, and exterior spaces.
Conduct minor repairs on plumbing, electrical fixtures, lighting, and kitchen appliances.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from store management.
Ensure all equipment is functioning properly to support food safety and operational efficiency.
Maintain cleanliness of non-food prep areas, including storage rooms, back-of-house, and outdoor spaces.
Maintain tools and supplies inventory and notify management of replenishment needs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

What You Bring to the Table:

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications will be considered an advantage.
Previous experience in general maintenance or a similar role, preferably in a retail or food service environment.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good physical condition and ability to lift, bend, and work in various environments
Artisan Painter
Experienced Carpenter
Skilled Tiler
Valid driver’s license will be considered an advantage
Must be based in Helderberg Area (Somerset West).
