CODE 10 AND CODE 08 DRIVER
Looking for a skilled Code 10 and Code 08 Driver to join our team. Temp position with key responsibilities including safe delivery of parcels, vehicle maintenance, and customer service. Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Job Title: Code 10 and Code 08 Driver
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly with a valid Code 10 or Code 08 driver’s license.
- Pick up and deliver courier parcels to clients according to daily schedules and routes.
- Load and unload parcels carefully to prevent damage.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, reporting any defects or maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, delivery notes, and logs.
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to confirm delivery instructions or resolve issues.
- Handle cash-on-delivery payments where applicable, providing receipts and ensuring accurate accounting.
- Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the vehicle assigned.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when not driving (loading/unloading, sorting parcels).
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Code 10 and/or Code 08 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in courier or logistics industry.
- Good knowledge of local traffic laws, routes, and regulations.
- Physically fit and able to lift packages up to [specify weight] kg.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations calmly.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to manage delivery documentation.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and delivery tracking systems is a plus.
Pickers - Temp
Job Purpose:To accurately and efficiently pick and prepare parcels or items for dispatch according to customer orders, ensuring quality, speed, and accuracy while maintaining safety and cleanliness in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick items according to order sheets or scanning devices (e.g., barcode scanners).
- Ensure the correct quantity and quality of items are picked.
- Place picked items in the correct bins, cages, or containers for delivery.
- Label, scan, and package items as required.
- Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist with stock counting and inventory control when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking area.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
- Meet daily picking targets and performance standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 10 or higher (Matric / Grade 12 advantageous)
- Previous experience in a warehouse, courier, or retail picking environment (advantageous but not essential)
- Basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills
- Ability to operate barcode scanners or handheld picking devices (training can be provided)
- Physically fit and able to lift/move items up to 25kg
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Job Purpose:
To provide exceptional customer service by handling inbound and outbound calls, addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming customer calls promptly and professionally.
- Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently and courteously.
- Document all customer interactions and transactions accurately in the CRM system.
- Follow up with customers as needed to ensure issues are resolved.
- Meet individual and team targets for call handling time, customer satisfaction, and quality standards.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to supervisors or relevant departments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and procedures.
- Adhere to call centre scripts and guidelines while maintaining a friendly and helpful tone.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in a call centre or customer service environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good listening and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use CRM systems
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
