•    A detailed Curriculum Vitae.
•    Copies of your qualifications, or official proof of qualifications obtained (If you hold foreign qualifications, please include SAQA accreditation).
•    A copy of your identity document (South African ID or passport for foreign nationals).
Duties and responsibilities:
Tender administration and facilitation

•    Prepare attendance registers and confidentiality documents for the tender workgroup. 
•    Make bookings of venues and set up virtual meetings for information and evaluation sessions. 
•    Perform mandatory tender evaluations. 
•    Follow up on outstanding documentation.
•    Confirm the accuracy and validity of required documents. 
•    Perform due diligence on references. 
•    Distribute tender notices and tender invitations. 
•    Assist with supervised tender requests and handle supervised inquiries from bidders and potential bidders. 
•    Conduct supervised research on tender requests. 
•    Draft and distribute supervised successful and unsuccessful letters. 
•    Assist the purchasing division and vendor registration division with new purchase orders and new vendor registration on a need basis.

Inherent requirements:
•    A bachelor’s degree or a B-Tech degree on NQF Level 7 in the field of accounting or law or an LLB degree on NQF Level 8. 
•    The applicant should not be studying full-time. 
•    The applicant must be a South African Citizen or permanent resident. 
•    Must not have participated in an internship before or currently be participating in an existing   learnership/internship programme. 
•    The applicant should not have any previous formal work experience. 
•    The applicant must be willing to sign a learnership/internship agreement with UFS.
•    The applicant must be available for a period of 1 year to participate in the learnership/internship.

Recommendations:
•    Knowledge and understanding of relevant legal practices and documentation such as POPIA, agreements (license agreements, service level agreements, etc). 
•    Knowledge and understanding of analysis and review of financial statements and tax legislation. 
•    Knowledge of computer software (Microsoft and Adobe productivity suites). 
•    Proficiency in writing skills, numerical skills, advanced Excel and computer skills.

Salary:
The salary is a fixed amount of R 9,100.50 per month.
