Job Description
The YES Learners will join Clover's Secondary Distribution department and gain practical workplace experience over a period of 12 months.
The positions are based at Clover's Atlas branches and involve supporting the monitoring and administration of distribution operations through the Daily Route Management (DRM) system.
What You Will Do
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
Daily Route Management
- Monitor drivers' adherence to planned routes using Daily Route Management (DRM).
- Escalate events such as unauthorised stops, speeding, excessive idling, entering no-go zones and harsh braking to the relevant managers.
- Monitor stop Turn Around Times (TATs).
- Report delivery delays and escalate them to the relevant manager.
- Monitor planned versus actual kilometres, hours, driving time and standing time.
- Monitor route sequence compliance based on planned versus actual routes.
- Monitor vehicle-to-route assignments.
- Assist with route allocation handovers.
- Handover open calls and queries to the next shift.
Monitor the DRM System
- Check DRM reports for driver debriefing.
- Escalate incorrect geo-fencing.
- Monitor inactive routes.
- Acknowledge non-reporting units.
- Extract daily, weekly and monthly reports for the Project Manager.
