The East London Industrial Development Zone SOC Ltd is a State-Owned Corporation set up by government through the South African Special Economic Zones Programme (previously under the Industrial Development Zones Programme) to develop, operate and maintain modern infrastructure and to attract strategic investments for the region. The East London IDZ has the following opportunities available for undergraduates who are seeking experiential learning in order to obtain their qualification. The duration period will vary between 3 to 18 months depending on the syllabus of the institution of learning and the condition of the experiential learning internship programme agreement to be signed after appointment:

Other Requirements:
• You must be already studying towards your qualification from an accredited Institution of Learning;
• You must submit an approved Request for Experiential Training Letter obtained from your institution of learning;
• You must submit full Academic Record (preference will be given to top performers academically);
• The ELIDZ is committed to giving preference to suitably qualified persons with Disabilities in the relevant respective areas of the experiential learning internship;
• You must be South African citizen (preference will be given to applicants from Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality); and
• You must be under the age of 35 years.
