Apply Before 27 February! Rand Water Is Hiring Unemployed Youth for a Horticulture Learnership 2026 in Gauteng
Rand Water, one of South Africa’s largest bulk water utilities, is offering a Horticulture Learnership Programme (NQF Level 2) for unemployed youth in Gauteng. This opportunity is aimed at developing critical skills in line with the National Skills Development Strategy.
Minimum Requirements
• Applicants must be unemployed
• Applicants must not be studying or registered for another learnership
• Applicants must not have a completed post-matric qualification
• Applicants must have Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics or Math Literacy and Life Science (minimum Level 3 in all subjects)
• Applicants must be South African citizens with a valid SA ID
• Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old
• Applicants must submit a SAQA / NLRD verification report

Primary Duties
• Assist with horticultural site operations and plant production
• Monitor plant growth and health
• Conduct soil preparation and planting
• Maintain tools, equipment, and irrigation systems
• Participate in plant propagation, watering, and fertilizing
• Attend classes and complete assessments and logbooks

Eligibility Criteria
