Nokia is seeking ambitious university graduates in Human Resources for a Graduate Internship program within its People Organisation group in Johannesburg, South Africa. Your responsibilities
- Record keeping by maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and files and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assisting with the onboarding process for new hires, scheduling inductions.
- Ensuring that benefits documents are fully completed and share then with the People Care Partner.
- Assisting with payroll processes, including gathering data and submitting to the People Care Partner for review.
- Assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
- Assisting with the coordination of HR events in line with the annual employee engagement program.
- Liaising with key stakeholders for HR related events.
Your skills and experience
You Have:
- A bachelor’s degree in human resource management or a similar field.
- Understanding and applying relevant labour laws and regulations to HR practices.
- SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Managing multiple tasks, prioritizing deadlines, and staying organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintaining accuracy and precision in data entry, record keeping, and report generation.
- The ability to communicate effectively with employees, HR staff, and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
