What You'll Be Doing

Successful candidates will:

  • Mobilise communities for HIV prevention programmes.
  • Conduct HIV testing services.
  • Link beneficiaries to healthcare services.
  • Provide case management support.
  • Maintain mobilisation and case management registers.
  • Conduct community outreach activities.
  • Support HIV prevention and treatment adherence.
  • Assist with support groups.
  • Participate in staff training and workshops.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
  • Attend interdisciplinary team meetings.

Who Can Apply?

To be considered, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12.
  • At least one year of related experience or training.
  • HIV Counselling Certificate.
  • Certified to conduct finger-prick HIV testing.
  • Ability to communicate in English and isiZulu.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office).

The following will be an advantage:

  • Valid driver's licence.
