Job Title: Learnership Security Officer
Job Type: Full-time, Learnership
Are you between the age of 18-27, If Yes - We are currently seeking young motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Learnership Security Officers. This learnership program is designed to provide training and hands-on experience in the field of security, including monitoring and patrolling premises, ensuring the safety of employees and visitors, and responding to security incidents.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security cameras and alarms to identify any suspicious activity
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Report any security breaches or incidents to the appropriate authorities
- Provide assistance and support to employees and visitors in need of help
- Complete all required training and coursework as part of the learnership program
- Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum Psira certificate grade C
- Minimum Grade 10
- Should have previously contributed to UIF
- Youth will be prioritized (18-27 years old)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations calmly
- Willingness to learn and participate in a structured training program
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
