Minimum Requirements
· Grade 12/ NQF 4 equivalent qualification
· Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience.
Knowledge
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
· Storage area control
· Safety Health and Environmental aspects
· Cycle counting and reconciliation
· Stock rotation (FIFO)
Duties & Responsibilities
· Pack cooled product into crates according to sizes and quantity
· Pack crates onto pallet
· Verify Best Before dates and label stickers
· Verify on daily planning what needs to be packed on the line
· Remove completed or defective products and/or materials
· Ensure good housekeeping
· Attend and participate in all relevant company safety programs
· Maintain workplace safety and follow established safety guidelines
· Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, this would include making sure that you are wearing required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety.
· Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
· Utilizing continuous improvement mind-set, assist in identifying opportunities to improve process.
· Work shifts as required.
