Work Description
Assists with the accurate data processing of paper records into an electronic format that facilitates data review and analysis. Assist with filing administration system effectively in keeping and retrieving files and documents organised for the company. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for providing patient literacy, tracing (patient reminder system) and/or counselling and testing.
Technical Work Responsibilities
• Filing and retrieving patient files, filing lab results
• Capturing the data accurately from paper forms into a project specific database according to Aurum specific guidelines
• Verifies data from paper forms with data already captured on the electronic database
• Supports the data management team in all data management functions
• Adheres to all data management SOP’s, guidelines and confidentiality agreements
• Implements a filing system for study-related case report forms and other documentation.
• Tele and/or physical tracing of index contacts missed appointments.
• Provide counselling and testing services in facility or community.
• Any other responsibilities deemed Operational appropriate for the HCW function
Requirements
Education
• Grade 12 with pass in English Language
Advantageous
• Basic Computer skills
• Basic Microsoft office skills
• Basic Mathematics & Numeracy Skills
