Position Overview
Job Title: Assistant Operator – Reliever (Beverages Packaging)
The Reliever role supports the beverages packaging team by temporarily filling in for absent or unavailable employees. This ensures continuity of production, adherence to safety and hygiene standards, and achievement of daily production targets.
Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor beverage packaging machinery including bottling, labelling, sealing, and palletising

Ensure packaging materials such as bottles, cans, labels, and cartons are correctly loaded and available

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the packaging area in line with hygiene standards

Conduct routine quality checks to ensure packaging meets company specifications
-
Report equipment faults and safety hazards to supervisors
-
Follow standard operating procedures and comply with health, safety, and food safety regulations
-
Assist with inventory control of packaging materials when required
-
Support different packaging lines based on operational needs
-
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets
Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Previous manufacturing or packaging experience is an advantage but not required

Ability to operate basic machinery and follow technical instructions

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Willingness to work shifts and adapt to different packaging lines

Good communication and teamwork skills

Physically fit to perform repetitive tasks and moderate lifting

Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and packaged beverage products

Shift-based work, including weekends and public holidays when required
