A reputable security services provider is seeking a highly trained Security Officer (PSIRA Grade A) to join its professional team. This position involves working closely with a VIP Client, requiring a candidate who is alert, disciplined, well-presented, and able to perform under pressure.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols to maintain safety and visible security presence

• Control and authorize access of people and vehicles

• Monitor CCTV systems and identify security risks

• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations

• Investigate suspicious activities and enforce site rules

• Secure doors, windows, and exits after operational hours

• Assist residents, staff, or visitors when required

• Apprehend and detain suspects according to legal protocol

• Compile daily security and incident reports

• Perform additional security duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• PSIRA Grade A (valid and active)

• Grade 12 (Matric Certificate)

• Medical Certificate Level 1–3

• Firefighting Training Certificate

• Valid Code 8 Driver’s License

• Firearm Competency – Handgun

• Business Purpose License – Handgun

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Physically fit and medically able

• Neat, professional, and well-groomed appearance

• No criminal record

Added Advantage

• Experience in VIP Protection / VIP Client Security

• Experience working at Residential Security Estates or Sites
