Overview
This initiative aims to strengthen local law enforcement capacity while providing unemployed youth with formal training and career development opportunities in the public safety sector.
Successful candidates will undergo structured training and must meet strict physical, legal, and academic standards throughout the recruitment and training period.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must submit certified copies (not older than 6 months) of:
• Grade 12 Matric Certificate (no statement of results)
• South African ID
• Valid Code B Driver’s License
• Clear criminal record (SAPS clearance or proof of application)
• Comprehensive CV
Additional Requirements
• Must be physically fit and healthy
• Must be a South African citizen aged 20–35
• Must reside within the Breede Valley Municipal Area (Affidavit required)
• Must communicate in at least two of the three official Western Cape languages
• Must have own transport to and from the training facility
Candidates must pass:
• Diagnostic written test
• Physical fitness test
• Driving test
• Random drug test
