Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • NQF Level 1 qualification or ABET Level 4 Certificate (or equivalent)

Duties and Responsibilities

Successful applicants will:

  • Perform road construction and maintenance work
  • Repair potholes and road surfaces
  • Maintain drainage systems and culverts
  • Install and repair road signs and road markings
  • Repair road fencing and guardrails
  • Operate hand tools and small equipment
  • Maintain safe and clean work sites
  • Assist with traffic accommodation during road works
  • Travel throughout Gauteng and stay near construction sites when required
