Vacancy 1: Facilitators (120 Posts)

Main Purpose

Facilitators will lead ward-based and sectoral dialogues, ensuring discussions are inclusive, respectful, trauma-informed and participatory while encouraging meaningful engagement from all participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate community and sectoral dialogue sessions
  • Create safe and inclusive discussion environments
  • Manage group dynamics and conflict professionally
  • Encourage participation from all attendees
  • Apply the principles of Ubuntu, neutrality and inclusivity
  • Attend orientation sessions before dialogues

Vacancy 2: Rapporteurs (120 Posts)

Main Purpose

Rapporteurs will accurately capture discussions, prepare reports and document outcomes from National Dialogue sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take detailed and accurate notes
  • Record and transcribe dialogue sessions
  • Prepare structured reports
  • Capture key recommendations and discussion points
  • Work with Facilitators to verify information
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Produce objective and unbiased reports

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • At least one year's experience in minute-taking, report writing, transcription or similar documentation roles
  • Excellent listening and writing skills
  • Fluency in English and at least one additional official South African language

  • Access to a recording device

Remuneration

R1,500 per dialogue

Payment is made after successful completion of assigned dialogues and submission of approved reports.
