1. RCL Foods Packer Job

The Packer will be responsible for packing finished products and preparing them for shipment, specifically within the Beverages operation.

What You Need to Succeed

Applicants must have:

• Matric
• Ability to read and write
• Minimum 1 year of beverage product packing experience

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparing corrugate boxes.
• Packing cooled products into corrugate boxes according to the required sizes and quantities.
• Palletizing corrugated product boxes.
• Checking boxes before and after packing to ensure they are free from damage.
• Checking daily planning to determine what needs to be packed.
• Removing completed or defective products or materials.
• Shrink-wrapping and labelling each corrugated product box.
• Maintaining good housekeeping.
• Participating in relevant company safety programmes.
• Maintaining workplace safety and following established safety guidelines.
• Following Good Manufacturing Practices and wearing required PPE in designated areas.
• Reporting food safety and food quality issues to management immediately.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Working shifts as required.

2. RCL Foods Forklift Driver Job

The Forklift Driver will ensure that pallets are correctly stacked and that finished goods transferred to cold storage are accurately captured.

What You Need to Succeed

Applicants must have:

• Minimum Matric and/or NQF 4 equivalent.
• Valid Forklift Counterbalance Licence.
• Valid Power Pallet Truck Licence would be advantageous.
• 2 years' experience operating a forklift in an operations, warehouse or stores environment.
• Basic computer literacy.

• Operate forklifts according to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies.
• Conduct daily equipment checks.
• Report equipment faults or maintenance requirements.
• Report identified non-conformances to the supervisor.
• Maintain continuous housekeeping of the work area.

Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of pallets transferred to the cold storage area.
• Complete equipment usage and inspection checklists and logs.
