Job Description

The Security Officer will be responsible for protecting employees, clients, information and assets at the Department of Employment and Labour's Labour Centres and Provincial Office.

The position involves controlling access, conducting security patrols, enforcing security procedures and helping maintain a safe environment.

What You Will Do

The successful candidates will:

• Control access in and out of Labour Centres and the Provincial Office.
• Secure the movement of information and assets.
• Conduct security patrols of buildings and offices.
• Help ensure the safety of employees and clients.
• Conduct internal investigations where required.
• Enforce security rules and regulations.

What You Need to Succeed

Applicants must have:

• Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
• Grade C Security Certificate (PSIRA)
• 12 months security experience
