About SABS

Programme Purpose

The Youth Development Programme aims to equip graduates with meaningful workplace exposure aligned to organisational and national skills priorities.

Participants will gain:

• Practical work experience
• Structured learning and mentoring
• Exposure to standards development processes

• Rotational assignments within the division

Successful candidates will enter into a 12-month fixed-term development contract.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be a South African citizen
• Be between 18 and 35 years old
• Have completed a relevant Diploma or Advanced Certificate
• Have a minimum 80% academic average
• Have no formal work experience in their field of study
• Be currently unemployed
