Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• An undergraduate qualification at NQF Level 6 in one of the following fields:

  • Operations Management

  • Public Management or Administration

  • Business Administration or Management

  • Administrative Management

  • Financial Accounting or Finance

Two years of functional experience in one of the following environments:

  • Client services

  • Claims processing

  • Operations

  • Insurance


Required Knowledge

Candidates should have knowledge of:

• Unemployment Insurance Act (UIA)
• Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act (UICA)
• UIF policies and procedures
• Batho Pele principles
• Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)
• Operations systems used within the department
